 As part of a recent project, I was assigned to address core functionality issues that were directly affecting user satisfaction and system reliability. My goal was to resolve these blockers with scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. Through careful debugging, code refinement, and testing, I successfully fixed two major issues that significantly improved the overall user experience.  

✅ 1. Resolved "Forgot Password" Functionality 

• Investigated a broken password recovery flow that prevented users from resetting their credentials.
• Re-engineered the reset logic to include proper validation, secure token management, and seamless redirection.
• Improved email delivery reliability using queue-based processing and retry mechanisms.
• Enhanced UX with clear user guidance and responsive error messages.
• Result: A frictionless and secure password reset process that restored trust and minimized user drop-offs.

✅ 2. Fixed Firebase Notification Delivery Issues

• Identified delivery delays and inconsistencies in real-time notifications across devices.
• Streamlined Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) integration by addressing token refresh issues and payload structure errors.
• Implemented optimized retry logic and fallback handling for failed sends.
• Conducted extensive cross-platform testing to ensure consistent performance.
• Result: Timely and reliable push notifications, leading to improved user engagement and retention.

🧠 What I Learned & Delivered

These challenges not only strengthened my problem-solving skills but also deepened my expertise in authentication flows, real-time systems, and Firebase integrations. By approaching the problems with both a developer’s mindset and a user-first perspective, I was able to implement sustainable solutions that added real value to the project.
